Yelowsoft vs TaxiCaller vs Moovs (2026): True Cost for a 5, 10 and 25-Car Fleet, and Which to Choose
By Limozoft Editorial · Reviewed by Limozoft operator research team.

Which of Yelowsoft, TaxiCaller and Moovs is best for your operation?
They are three different purchases that happen to share a search results page. TaxiCaller is a pay-as-you-go dispatch system built around taxi fleets. Moovs is a transportation management platform that has moved toward mid-size and enterprise limo and chauffeur operators. Yelowsoft is a white-label platform for people launching their own branded taxi, ride-hailing or delivery business.
None of the three can write a neutral comparison of all three, and the vendors' own blogs are mostly generic checklists without numbers. This page tries to fill that gap with a worked cost calculation, and says plainly where each product is strong.
Every competitor figure here comes from the vendor's own page or from a named third-party listing, and was last verified on 2 November 2026. Vendors change prices, so confirm in writing before you budget.
How do the three compare at a glance?
The table below summarises what each vendor publishes. 'Not published' means we could not find the figure on the vendor's own site, not that the feature is missing.
- Best for: TaxiCaller is taxi fleets on a budget; Moovs is limo and chauffeur operators growing past owner-operator size; Yelowsoft is startups launching a branded app.
- Pricing model: TaxiCaller charges per activated vehicle; Moovs uses tiered monthly plans that it does not publish; Yelowsoft uses trip-volume tiers plus per-app white-label fees.
- Commitment: TaxiCaller lists no contract and no setup cost on its official pricing page; Moovs and Yelowsoft terms should be confirmed in a written quote.
What does each platform really cost for 5, 10 and 25 cars?
This is the section to bookmark. The assumptions are stated so you can change them: every car is active all month, and trip volume is roughly 60 trips per car per month (300, 600 and 1,500 trips for 5, 10 and 25 cars). Your numbers will differ, which is exactly why the calculation matters more than the headline monthly price.
TaxiCaller: per-vehicle activation fees
TaxiCaller's own Quebec pricing page shows pay-as-you-go at CAD 29 per vehicle per month, billed on activations: a vehicle counts when a driver logs in and selects it in the Driver App, and counts reset each calendar month. Third-party listings show US starting prices around $20 to $28 per vehicle. We use $28 as a mid-range planning figure. It lists no installation or setup cost and no contract, with volume discounts above 20 vehicles.
At $28: 5 cars is $140 a month ($1,680 a year), 10 cars is $280 ($3,360), and 25 cars is $700 ($8,400) before any volume discount. Inactive vehicles are not billed, so a fleet with seasonal cars can pay less. Budget extra for SMS and any add-ons, which vary by market.
Moovs: tiered plans that are not published
Moovs does not publish its prices, and third-party listings conflict. Reported entry plans range from $99 to $149 a month, Pro plans from about $179 to $199 (one listing adds a $299 setup fee), and Enterprise from $499 up to $999. One listing shows the passenger app as a separate add-on at $499 a month plus a $1,000 setup fee. Treat all of these as estimates.
If we assume a Basic plan at 5 cars, Pro at 10 and Enterprise at 25 (your tier depends on users and rides, so this is an assumption), year one is roughly $1,188 to $1,788 for 5 cars, $2,148 to $2,388 for 10 cars (plus a possible $299 setup), and $5,988 to $11,988 for 25 cars. Add the passenger app and the totals rise sharply.
Yelowsoft: trip tiers plus white-label app fees
Third-party listings on TrustRadius show three base plans: Starter at about $99 a month for 500 trips, Professional at about $249 for 1,500 trips and Growth at about $799 for 6,000 trips, with annual discounts. A Fitgap listing shows white-label customer and driver apps at roughly $249 setup and $99 a month each, plus a maintenance cost for customisation. Above 5,000 trips a month Yelowsoft quotes custom pricing.
On our trip assumptions, base plans alone are about $1,188 a year for 5 cars (Starter), $2,988 for 10 cars (Professional) and $2,988 for 25 cars (Professional, right at its 1,500-trip cap). Add branded driver and customer apps and it becomes roughly $4,062, $5,862 and $5,862 in year one.
Limozoft as a reference point
Limozoft's published pricing is a one-time setup plus a low monthly fee by fleet size, with no per-trip, per-booking or per-driver fees. For 5 cars that is $399 setup plus $10/month, or $519 in year one. For 10 cars it is $699 plus $30/month, or $1,059. For 25 cars it is $1,299 plus $40/month, or $1,779.
What are the year-one totals side by side?
Figures are estimates built from the sources above and the stated assumptions. 'Base' excludes branded apps and add-ons. Moovs ranges reflect conflicting third-party listings.
- 5 cars: TaxiCaller about $1,680; Moovs about $1,188 to $1,788; Yelowsoft about $1,188 base ($4,062 with branded apps); Limozoft $519.
- 10 cars: TaxiCaller about $3,360; Moovs about $2,148 to $2,388 plus possible setup; Yelowsoft about $2,988 base ($5,862 with branded apps); Limozoft $1,059.
- 25 cars: TaxiCaller about $8,400 before volume discount; Moovs about $5,988 to $11,988; Yelowsoft about $2,988 base ($5,862 with branded apps); Limozoft $1,779.
Where is TaxiCaller strong, and where does it fall short?

TaxiCaller is strongest for taxi operations: a low entry price, no listed contract or setup cost, and billing that follows the vehicles you actually use. It is a sensible pick for a taxi-only fleet with a rank and a driver base that changes through the year.
The catch is that cost scales linearly with fleet size, so a growing fleet can end up paying more than it expected from the advertised starting price. One review site specifically advises calculating total cost including activation fees. If your work is hourly charters, corporate accounts and affiliate farm-ins, check how well those workflows are supported before you commit.
Where is Moovs strong, and where does it fall short?

Moovs is strongest for limo and chauffeur businesses that want one platform for quoting, dispatch, driver and passenger apps and reporting. It is positioned for mid-size and enterprise transportation operators, and that is where its depth shows.
For a 1 to 15 car operator, the questions are price transparency and scope. Moovs does not publish prices, so you must request a quote, and add-ons such as a passenger app can change the total materially. Ask for the all-in year-one figure in writing.
Where is Yelowsoft strong, and where does it fall short?

Yelowsoft is strongest if you are launching a branded product: white-label customer and driver apps, ride-hailing features and multi-vertical support across taxi, delivery and chauffeur. For a startup that wants its own app-store presence, that is the point.
It is a different purchase from a ready-to-run dispatch subscription. White-label apps carry their own setup and monthly fees and may carry maintenance costs, and plans are tiered by trip volume. A small limo operator who just needs dispatch and a booking page may be paying for capability they will not use.
Which one fits taxi, limo and airport-transfer operations?
Taxi with a rank or street work: TaxiCaller is the natural fit because of its taxi focus and per-vehicle billing. Limo and chauffeur with corporate accounts and hourly work: Moovs or a limo-first platform is a better match. Airport transfers and shuttles: test flight-tracking, fixed-price zones and driver app behaviour in a demo, whichever vendor you choose.
If you are starting a branded ride-hailing business rather than running an existing fleet, Yelowsoft is built for you, and it is the one where you should insist on an itemised quote for apps, trips and maintenance.
How do you switch dispatch software without downtime?
Plan the move for a quiet week and run both systems for a short overlap rather than switching overnight.
- Export customers, accounts and booking history before you cancel anything, and check the export opens cleanly.
- Rebuild your rates, zones and extras in the new system and test five real quotes against your old prices.
- Move future bookings across first, then recurring accounts, then history.
- Brief drivers on the new app and run a test job before go-live.
- Keep the old system read-only for 30 days in case a customer disputes an old booking.
Where does Limozoft fit as a fourth option?
Limozoft is built for limo and chauffeur operators with 1 to 50 vehicles who want a published, flat price: a one-time setup plus a low monthly fee, with the driver app, dispatch and corporate PO invoicing included and no per-trip or per-driver fees. It will not suit a street-hail taxi rank, and it is not a white-label ride-hailing builder.
The honest test is the same one used above: put your fleet size and trip volume into each vendor's quote and compare twelve-month totals. You can run your numbers through the Limozoft cost calculator, and the author of this guide has helped 250+ operators across 18 years choose and switch dispatch systems.
What is the bottom line?
Judge each platform on the trade-offs that matter to your fleet, not the longest feature list. Limozoft costs $399 one-time plus $10 to $40 a month by fleet size, with no per-trip or per-driver fees, instant email support and a live demo on request. Book a demo to see it on your own bookings.
