Global Limo Job Sharing for Small Operators: LZNet vs LA Net Compared

Short answer: Sharing limo jobs across borders works when both operators agree the price, currency, pickup time zone and settlement before the trip. LZNet records all four on every trip and has no per-trip network fee. LA Net is Limo Anywhere's established network and lists $0.75 per farmed trip on Core (per limoanywhere.com/pricing, October 2026). Any small or medium operator can join for a minimum monthly fee (see Limozoft pricing for current plans). Compare partner coverage in your own cities first, then fees.

Why do small limo operators share jobs globally?

Customers travel, and they expect their chauffeur company to follow them. A corporate client booked in your city flies to Lisbon, Dubai or Sydney next month and asks you to arrange the car. A small operator cannot own vehicles there, but it can keep the booking, the relationship and a margin by passing the job to a trusted local partner.

The reverse also pays. Operators in tourist and airport cities receive arrivals booked abroad, and filling those with overflow from partners costs nothing to acquire.

What makes cross-border job sharing harder than local farming?

A local farm-out is a phone call. Across borders, five details routinely go wrong.

  • Time zones: the pickup time must be read in the pickup city, not the sender's city.
  • Currency: the agreed price must name one currency, and both sides must book the same amount.
  • Airports and flights: terminal, flight number and meeting point decide whether the driver finds the passenger.
  • Licensing and insurance: rules differ by country and city, and the partner is responsible for theirs.
  • Getting paid: international payment between two small companies is slow unless the amounts and dates are recorded in one place.

How does LZNet handle global job sharing?

Each LZNet company profile carries its country, timezone, cities, airports and vehicle categories, and the directory can be filtered on all of them. Every trip stores its own pickup timezone, so the partner sees the time as the passenger will experience it. The agreed price is stored with a three-letter currency code, and ledger entries for both operators use that currency.

You can share a job two ways. Farm out directly to a connected partner you trust, or post it to the job board and let operators bid. On the board, bids can only go down and the lowest valid bid wins, which suits a city where you have no partner yet. Passenger name and contact details stay hidden until the winning operator accepts.

What LZNet does not do

LZNet does not convert currencies or move money. Settlements are recorded against ledger entries and exported to CSV; the payment itself happens between the two operators by whatever method they agree. It also does not verify licences for you. A verified badge is a starting point, and you should check a new partner's local licence and insurance yourself.

How does LA Net compare for global job sharing?

LA Net is the established affiliate network inside Limo Anywhere, and Limo Anywhere lists farm-in/farm-out at $0.75 per trip on Core (per limoanywhere.com/pricing, October 2026). If your partners already run Limo Anywhere, that shared platform is a real advantage. We do not publish LA Net's international coverage or its handling of currencies and time zones because we cannot verify them. Ask Limo Anywhere which of your target cities have active operators before you rely on it.

Who can join LZNet, and what does it cost?

Any small or medium limo or chauffeur operator can join LZNet for a minimum monthly fee. There is no per-trip network fee from Limozoft, so the cost does not grow with the number of jobs you share, and a one-vehicle owner-operator pays on the same basis as a fleet of twenty.

Current plan prices and the one-time setup fee are on the Limozoft pricing page. Compare the total with what you would pay per farmed trip on a usage-priced network over a year, using your own trip numbers rather than ours.

How should you price a shared job?

Start from what the customer pays, subtract your margin, and offer the remainder as the partner's net price. Typical agreements keep the sender's margin as a percentage of the customer fare, but the right figure depends on your market, so agree it in writing.

Include every extra in the agreed price: waiting time, parking, tolls, meet-and-greet and fuel surcharge. State the currency and whether the amount includes local tax. A flat net price per trip type, agreed once as a rate card, avoids renegotiating every job.

How do you protect the customer relationship?

Tell the partner whether the driver may mention your company name, and agree that they will not solicit your customer. Give the customer one point of contact: yours. Share only what the partner needs to complete the trip, and share it after they accept. Keep a written trip confirmation so both sides can resolve disputes from the same record.

What does a good first cross-border trip look like?

Pick a low-risk transfer, such as an airport pickup with a flight number and a clear meeting point, and a partner you have spoken to. Confirm time zone, currency, vehicle and who contacts the passenger. After the trip, check the audit trail, settle the amount, and only then increase volume.

What is the bottom line?

Judge each platform on the trade-offs that matter to your fleet, not the longest feature list. Worth keeping in mind: no currency conversion or payment processing: you still settle money yourselves. Limozoft costs $399 one-time plus $10 to $40 a month by fleet size, with no per-trip or per-driver fees, instant email support and a live demo on request.

Frequently asked questions

Can I share limo jobs with operators in other countries?+
Yes. Find an operator by country or airport in the LZNet directory, connect, and farm the trip out directly, or post it to the job board for bids. The trip keeps the pickup timezone and an agreed currency.
Does LZNet convert currencies?+
No. Each trip has one agreed currency and the ledger records it. Operators settle between themselves by the method they agree.
How do I know a partner is licensed?+
Check their licence and insurance for their jurisdiction before the first trip. A verified badge in a directory is a starting point, not proof for your market.
Can small and medium operators join LZNet?+
Yes. Any small or medium limo or chauffeur operator can join for a minimum monthly fee, with no per-trip network fee from Limozoft. See the pricing page for current plans and the one-time setup fee.
What does LA Net charge?+
Limo Anywhere lists $0.75 per farmed trip on Core (per limoanywhere.com/pricing, October 2026). LZNet has no per-trip network fee from Limozoft.
Who keeps the customer?+
The operator who took the booking. Agree in writing that the partner will not solicit the customer, and keep the customer's single point of contact with you.
What if no partner is available in a city?+
Post the job to the LZNet job board with a maximum price and closing time. Local operators bid, and the lowest valid bid wins.
