Migration hub
Switching from Limo Anywhere — the honest migration guide
Day-by-day timeline
| Day | What happens | Who does it |
|---|---|---|
| Day 0 | 20-minute discovery call. We confirm fleet size, add-ons, payment processor, integrations. | You + Limozoft onboarding |
| Day 1 | You export CSVs from Limo Anywhere (checklist below). Upload to shared workspace. | You (30–60 min) |
| Day 2 | We validate CSVs, flag anomalies, map fields. Sample import of 20 customers + 20 reservations for your review. | Limozoft |
| Day 3 | Full import. Drivers receive Limozoft app invites. Payment processor reconnected (Stripe/Square/Authorize.net). | Limozoft + you |
| Day 4 | Parallel run. Limo Anywhere = system of record for existing jobs; Limozoft = new bookings. | You |
| Day 5 | Go-live. Last legacy reservation runs. Limozoft becomes the system of record. | You |
Export checklist — what to pull from Limo Anywhere
You can do all of this from Limo Anywhere admin without a sales rep. If you get stuck, we'll join a screenshare and pull it with you.
- Customers — CSV: name, email, phone, VIP flag, preferred vehicle, notes.
- Corporate accounts — CSV: account name, billing address, PO required (yes/no), payment terms, tax exemption.
- Vehicles — CSV: year, make, model, license plate, capacity, vehicle class, active flag.
- Drivers — CSV: name, phone, email, license number and expiry, license class, active flag.
- Rate structures — CSV or PDF: hourly, transfer, point-to-point, airport minimums, surcharges (fuel, tolls, gratuity).
- Future reservations — CSV: all bookings from tomorrow forward with confirmation number, pickup datetime, passenger, vehicle class, price, notes.
- Historical reservations (optional) — last 24 months for reporting continuity. Not required for go-live.
- Payment processor credentials — Stripe/Square/ Authorize.net publishable + secret keys. Stored card tokens generally do NOT transfer; customers will re-enter cards on first new booking.
What transfers cleanly, what doesn't
| Feature / data | Transfers cleanly | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Customer profiles | Yes | Full history, VIP flags, preferences map 1:1. |
| Corporate accounts + PO settings | Yes | PO-required flag, billing terms, tax exemption all supported. |
| Future reservations | Yes | Same confirmation numbers preserved. |
| Historical reservations (past 24 mo) | Yes | Optional; imported read-only for reporting. |
| Vehicles + driver roster | Yes | Driver app invites auto-sent. |
| Rate structures | Yes, with review | We rebuild them in Limozoft's rate engine. 30-minute review call recommended. |
| Booking widget | Rebuild required | Limozoft's widget is a one-line snippet. Design tokens can match your existing site. |
| Stored payment tokens | No (industry rule) | PCI + processor terms prevent token portability. Customers re-enter cards; first booking after go-live triggers re-save. |
| GNet / affiliate farm-in | Yes, via interop | Limozoft receives farm-ins from any GNet partner without joining a network. |
| Custom SMS templates | Yes | We import as Limozoft SMS templates. |
| Historical driver payroll | Read-only export | Delivered as CSV, not re-run inside Limozoft. |
| QuickBooks / Xero sync | Yes | Reconnect on Day 3. |
The three risks we call out on every call
1. Stored payment tokens don't transfer.
This isn't a Limozoft limitation — no processor allows one merchant to hand tokenized cards to another merchant account. Customers re-enter their card on first post-go-live booking. If you use Stripe, we can speed this up with a bulk-invite email that pre-authorizes the new merchant record in one click.
2. Custom Limo Anywhere reports don't come with you.
Historical reservation data does, but any custom-built Limo Anywhere report needs to be recreated. We rebuild the three you use most, free, during onboarding. Anything niche past that is a scoped add-on.
3. Your booking widget URL changes.
Limozoft's booking widget lives on the same domain but a different path. We give you a JS snippet that replaces the Limo Anywhere iframe; any marketing links you sent out with the old Limo Anywhere URL keep working via a redirect we set up for 90 days after go-live.
Why operators switch (from the last 40 discovery calls)
- Real monthly bill 40–100% above the entry-plan quote once add-ons stack up (see Limo Anywhere pricing breakdown).
- Per-seat dispatcher pricing that punishes growth.
- Branded passenger app quoted as a separate line item.
- Support ticket turnaround measured in days, not hours.
- UI that visibly predates smartphones.
None of those are marketing complaints — they're the top-5 answers from the operators who booked a demo in the last 90 days.
